Race Summary

EMBERS GLOWING reserved for a half near the inside, angled out and advanced three wide into the second turn, continued in that path when continuing his rally, took over once in the stretch and drew clear under steady urging. SUZ SLEW close up while off the inside, angled out for the drive and finished willingly to be up for the place. WOODFORD GIRL set the pace along the inside, held on well to the final furlong and tired. ALBERTA'S BOOK outrun early, saved ground on the second turn but lodged only a mild late bid. TALKIN INDIAN outrun for a half, commenced her rally in the two path on the second turn but made only a mild late gain. BROKEN MINT forwardly placed three wide, challenged after a half, gained a short lead on the second turn but tired in the drive. CARRYIN THE DREAM could not menace.
