| Race Summary |

COPPER BOTTOM settled saving ground, closed the gap through the second turn,
angled out entering the stretch and was fully extended to wear down SPOKALU in
the final strides. SPOKALU was rank to place early, opened clear to dictate
terms, battled gamely through a prolonged drive but was turned away late.
BROGANVILLE attended the pace along the inside, shifted out leaving the second
turn to make his bid but went evenly through the drive. MORAL was allowed to
settle, advanced from between horses, came four wide but failed to sustain the
drive. ELEUTERIO settled in hand while never far back, came five wide but lacked
the needed late response. MILLION SELLER was void of early speed, tucked in to
save ground, swung five wide and finished with a belated gain but failed to
threaten. ROSA PANTERA broke awkwardly, made a middle move to range into
contention, but came up empty on the second turn and retreated. HENDERSON showed
little. MEXICALI MISSILE raced wide throughout, was used up after six furlongs
and was distanced through the lane.
