COPPER BOTTOM settled in hand, ranged up three wide to make his bid, forged a
narrow lead and gamely held sway. SHADES OF HOPE tracked the pace along the
inside, moved with the winner through the second turn, got through but
grudgingly gave way following a prolonged drive. MATTY'S CITY SLEW settled
saving ground, closed the gap through the second turn, angled out entering the
stretch but went evenly through the drive. MY SILVERS DUE was allowed to settle,
made a middle move four wide, but failed to sustain the drive. INCLUDE DE UNO
hopped at the start, was unhurried into stride, came four wide to make a belated
gain but failed to threaten. NITETIME SPLENDOR saved ground to no avail. DISTANT
MAGIC opened clear to set the pace, but drifted out through the second turn and
dropped out. HAPDAN was forwardly placed along the inside for a half and
stopped.
