CHIEF EXPORT vied for the early lead four wide, moved in a path on the second turn, managed a slim lead into the stretch and proved narrowly best. HOTSHOT SALESMAN reserved early, made a good five wide middle move, caught the winner with a furlong to go but missed. KISS THE FLAME forwardly placed five wide, moved in a path before a half, challenged four wide approaching the stretch but gave way. BOLD STAR outrun for a half, could not menace. YULLAH within striking distance off the inside, tired. REBEL'S RANSOM was no factor. REGALITY forced the pace between rivals and faded.
